Rip out and Restart

A few months ago I started a new shawl design. Loved the direction it was going and it was following my design plan. But I kept making simple mistakes because I was not paying attention.

At first thank goodness for the lifeline. But I got more and more careless with the lifeline placement. So each time I ripped out stitches I was spending more and more time trying to get back on track.

Then yesterday I decided to rip out all the stitches and restart. It hurt at first because I was near the end so I thought. But same thing in life when we get off course, we can always restart.
